WHAT WE DO.

As a musician booking agent service - The Phoenix Collective is a crucial intermediary between artists and venues. Our primary role is to connect talented musicians with appropriate performance opportunities. We maintain a vast network of contacts in the music industry, including venues, event organisers, and promoters.

Our role is simple - we remove the heartache for venues. We negotiate performance fees, contracts, and logistics on behalf of the artists, and carefully match artists to suitable venues, taking into account musical genre, target audience, and venue atmosphere. To ensure we keep it fresh, we provide a diverse range of musicians, so there isn't the 'same old' sense of entertainment.

We also take care of last minute changes and adjustments. In addition, we also handle scheduling, coordinating multiple performances and tours for our artists whilst building brand awareness, delivering an increase in foot traffic for venues.

OUR STORY.

"The passion that fuels The Phoenix Collective was ignited by a deep sense of artistic survival emerging from the challenges of the lockdown. Witnessing the financial suffocation of the industry and fellow artists giving up their dreams, we were driven to protect our passion and offer businesses a chance to take a leap of faith with us. We knew it wouldn't be the same as before, with different budgets and the need to go the extra mile. We understood the psychological landscape, where customers might shy away from crowded bars. Amidst these variables, the opportunity to become an agent arose through relentless self-promotion, sharing gigs with friends and promoting them on social media.

During the lockdowns, musicians were in the same storm, sharing a common struggle. Then, a client casually inquired if I had enough contacts to support regular music scheduling at their venue. Following a successful meeting, we began booking weekly music line-ups, which eventually expanded to three other venues. It was at this point that I decided to give a name to this venture, one that represented my personal and business journey, as well as that of others. The “Phoenix”, rising from the ashes, symbolised our resilience. And "Collective" embodies our unified approach, where like-minded individuals come together to collaborate, create, and share their musical talents and resources.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have witnessed our idea grow from working with just a couple of venues to now serving dozens and dozens, all while maintaining a strong team and attracting high-quality performers. We continue to learn and evolve, and now we're excited to expand our team, employ more talented individuals behind the scenes, and reinvest in our current performers. We scout new talent weekly to ensure our team grows alongside our clients, making us an ever-evolving company ready to make a lasting impact in the industry."
